The Essex Wildlife Trust educates up to 85,000 children and adults every year in each of its seven visitor centres. For an education room at the new Thurrock Thameside Nature Park, the trust required versatile and lightweight folding tables and has once again turned to the economy range from leading furniture producer and market leader, Gopak.
Built on what was once the largest landfill site in the UK and set to open in 2012, the 263-hectare nature park in Mucking will provide local residents with an outdoor classroom and play facilities for children, nature conservation areas for protected species, bird hides and an extensive network of recreational paths.
The county's leading conservation charity, Essex Wildlife Trust uses Gopak tables in all of its seven visitor centres and they have proved ideal for meetings, school visits and for large events, such as craft fairs. For the education centre at the Thameside Park, Gopak supplied 30 economy folding tables in a 950mm length and with a 685mm table width.
“The visitor centres require much of their furniture to be flexible, allowing space to be created for large events and changes of use. The Gopak tables can be erected and put away quickly and easily, and then be stored away when not in use,” commented Becky Gibson, People and Wildlife Manager, Essex Wildlife Trust. “We have found the shorter tables even more versatile than the longer length tables, both in terms of storage and flexibility.”
Manufactured to the rigorous BS EN 9001:2000 quality standard, the tables are available in three table lengths and two widths and. come in a range of four attractive laminate colours. Most importantly, the economy range is affordable without sacrificing quality. The tables also come with a five year guarantee for added peace of mind.
Gopak, which has a successful 50 year legacy in producing high quality furniture in the UK, believes that its economy folding tables are not only ideal for educational facilities but an excellent and versatile choice for any event or organisation.
